ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Gracie Beane

Randleman, girls’ basketball / track and field

Beane had a standout career as a basketball player and track and field athlete.

She was part of powerhouse Randleman teams on the basketball court.

In track and field, she was a multi-time place winner in the Class 2A state meet in the high jump and triple jump.

Beane qualified for the state meet in all four years of high school.

Beane intends to compete in both sports at Division II Ferrum.

During the summer, we recognize seniors from the past school year.
