The quarterback of the Central Carolina 3-A Conference champions has had a productive season.
Lawver has a team-leading seven rushing touchdowns while his 593 yards on the ground are the second-most on the team. He also has thrown for 12 touchdowns.
He was a big contributor to the Patriots’ title-clinching victory against Thomasville last week with a touchdown pass and touchdown run. After a first-round by, the Patriots will take a six-game winning streak into the Class 3A state playoffs next week.
Before realignment, Lawver was an all-conference football selection in 2023 and 2024 in the Piedmont Athletic Conference.
Lawver also has been a key contributor to the school’s baseball team.
