Southwestern Randolph, boys’ soccer

Lopez has been among the Cougars making big impacts as the team tries to return to the state finals. He has been among the core of the team’s roster for four seasons.

Lopez, a senior, had one of the goals when Southwestern Randolph opened the postseason by defeating Burlington Cummings last week. That result gave the Cougars a 17-game winning streak.

Entering this season, Lopez was an All-Piedmont Athletic Conference selection in each of his first three seasons with the Cougars.
