ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Kadie Green

Randleman, volleyball

Green has been a steady member of the Tigers’ volleyball team. She’s a senior libero.

Randleman has defeated Providence Grove twice across the first two weeks of the season.

Green was an All-Piedmont Athletic Conference player in volleyball last season prior to the reconfigured conference membership.

This week, Randleman has its first matches scheduled in the new PAC, which includes seven schools – and none of those besides Randleman is in Randolph County.

The Tigers will play three other Randolph County teams in non-conference matches later this season.

Green also plays basketball and softball for the Tigers. She was an All-PAC selection in softball in the spring.
