The senior broke through with a regional championship in his final season on the high school mats.
Moore won the East Region title at 150 pounds last week with a dominating performance. He notched four first-period pins to secure the title, capped by flattening Northeastern’s Jeremy Barcliff in 1:58 of the final.
Moore will be in the state tournament Friday and Saturday in Greensboro. He won two matches in last year’s state tournament but didn’t place.
Moore has signed to continue his wrestling career at Division II Belmont Abbey.
