It’s the start of conference play for Randolph County football teams this week.
There are six football-playing teams in both the Piedmont Athletic Conference and Mid-Piedmont Conference. Asheboro is in the Mid-Piedmont Conference, while the other teams are in the PAC.
Here’s a look at the matchups for the first conference games:

Providence Grove (1-4) at Trinity (2-3)
