Traffic was backed up on N.C. 64 following an accident near Eastern Randolph Road. (PJ Ward-Brown/Randolph Record) RAMSEUR – A Siler City woman was airlifted to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill from an accident scene near Eastern Randolph High School early Wednesday afternoon. Asjiah Salome Rivera, 21, suffered serious injuries, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. The accident occurred on U.S. 64 at Lee Layne Road in Randolph County.
