ASHEBORO – The City of Asheboro in association with Friday Night Bluegrass welcomes for the first time Mountain Blessings to Sunset Theatre on Friday night. The show in downtown Asheboro is set for 7 p.m. Tickets lost $10. Friday Night Bluegrass is a reoccurring program of the Sunset Theatre that presents local as well as regional bluegrass talent on the third Friday of the month. Mountain Blessings is based in Mount Airy and surrounding towns. The band consists of Brad Wood on mandolin, Travis Watts on banjo, Justin Jones on guitar, Briar McDowell on bass, and Charles Bowman on fiddle.
