Providence Grove, baseball Beasley made an impact in multiple sports at Providence Grove. As a senior for the Patriots during the baseball season, he landed a spot on the All-Piedmont Athletic Conference team. The captain was a pitcher and infielder for the Patriots. He led the team with a .365 batting average and he racked up a team-high five pitching victories during Providence Grove’s 10-14 season. Beasley also played basketball and football for the Patriots. Post 45 and Post 81 are scheduled to meet twice across a five-night period ASHEBORO – There has been a sampling of results for Liberty Post 81 and Randolph County Post 45 through the first few weeks of the American Legion baseball series.
