BOONE – Wheatmore alum Ellie Garrison scored her first two collegiate goals as Appalachian State defeated visiting Longwood 2-0 last Thursday night in women’s soccer.
Garrison, a freshman, posted both goals late in the first half. The result gave the Mountaineers a 2-0-2 record.
Garrison is the state’s all-time leader in goals for high school girls’ soccer.
