ASHEBORO – A Randolph County man who had been missing for several weeks has been located in Alabama.
The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office was notified that Craig Cox, 43, was located in Hoover, Alabama, during the weekend.
Cox had been entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System. He had last been seen near Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in mid-February.
Reports had come back to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department that Cox had entered Mexico. He had re-entered the United States in Texas.
The last known whereabouts for Cox in North Carolina had been Feb. 12 in the Siler City area. He had been driving a Ford F-150.
