ASHEBORO — Asheboro’s newest restaurant will open its doors this week.
Full Moon Oyster Bar, a North Carolina-based seafood restaurant group, will welcome guests for the first time at its 128 Trade St. location on Thursday, January 4, according to a release from the company.
Full Moon has other locations in Clemmons, Southern Pines, Morrisville, Jamestown, Concord and Atlantic Beach. The menu features traditional steam house seafood with steamed and raw oysters holding top billing. The bar’s shuckers will provide a unique service for Asheboro diners.
Beyond oysters, the steamed offerings include shrimp, scallops, clams, and crab legs. The kitchen also serves steaks, fried seafood, Caribbean and Asian inspired chicken dishes and jambalaya.
The Asheboro location will serve a lunch menu that includes sandwiches, soups and salads. Both the lunch and dinner menus feature a kids menu.
Full Moon has daily specials at each restaurant.
The restaurant will be open daily at 11:30 a.m.
