New downtown oyster bar will open Thursday

ASHEBORO — Asheboro's newest restaurant will open its doors this week. Full Moon Oyster Bar, a North Carolina-based seafood restaurant group, will welcome guests for the first time at its 128 Trade St. location on Thursday, January 4, according to a release from the company. Full Moon has other locations in Clemmons, Southern Pines, Morrisville, Jamestown, Concord and Atlantic Beach. Dodge City Steakhouse has closed in Ashesboro. (Randolph Record) ASHEBORO — The restaurant scene in Asheboro is on the move with a couple of notable developments. Dodge City Steakhouse on East Dixie Drive has closed. The Asheboro restaurant had been one of seven Dodge City Steakhouses in the state. Those are part of Hodge Restaurant Group, with corporate headquarters in Asheboro.
