Providence Grove cheerleaders participate in ACC football championship

CHARLOTTE — The cheerleaders from Providence Grove High School were part of the pregame performance at the Atlantic Coast Conference football championship game in Charlotte on Dec. 4. Following their on-field opportunity, which Pittsburgh won over Wake Forest to capture the ACC championship, the Providence Grove cheerleaders received team awards at a banquet on Dec. 6. Alyssa Beasley and Kinley Fergusion were named co-most valuable cheerleaders. The Rookie of the Year was Alexis Thomas, most dedicated was Ashley Spivey and the coach’s award went to Madilyn Hopkins.
