Cone applies to make move on cancer center

ASHEBORO — Moses Cone Memorial Hospital has filed a certificate of need application with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to relocate a linear accelerator and CT simulator to develop a new cancer center with medical and radiation oncology services. It would be part of the Cone Health Cancer Center. The project is expected to cost $32.5 million and would be completed in October 2024.
