Ivey has made quite an impression as a pitcher and batter in the opening weeks of her freshman season for Randleman.
The left-handed pitcher rolled up four victories in her first five decisions. She recorded 39 strikeouts in 31 innings.
She also has come through with key hits for the Tigers, who won seven of their first eight games. Ivey posted two of the team’s first three home runs this season.
