Ledbetter, Duggins split tight feature results at Caraway Speedway

SOPHIA – Dalton Ledbetter and Brody Duggins charged to victories in 20-lap Challengers features Saturday night at Caraway Speedway. Ledbetter finished ahead of Rookie of the Year leader Bryson Pickard in the first race, with Blake Cox in third. Duggins, the division’s points leader, took advantage of a re-start miscue by Ledbetter, then held off Ledbetter to win in the second race. Cox was third again. ** In 602 Modifieds, Jaxson Casper made short work of a small field in the 35-lap feature, outdistancing Josh Lowder, Ryan Kuhitau and Mitchell Wright. (Courtesy photo) SOPHIA – Rookie driver Bryson Pickard won the second of two Challengers features Saturday night at Caraway Speedway. After finishing sixth in the first race, Pickard began on the pole for the second of the 30-lap events. Pickard and Gary Ledbetter took turns in the lead before Pickard drove from the front across the final 20 laps.
