Dalton nabs victory in finale at chilly Caraway Speedway

SOPHIA – Boo Boo Dalton won the Limited Late Models race in the rescheduled Russell Hackett’s Thanksgiving Classic at Caraway Speedway. Dalton fended off Heath Causey in a four-car competition. The driver from Northampton, Pa, led all except a few laps to win the North-South Shootout on Saturday at Caraway Speedway. Hirschman has won the last four editions of the fall event and claimed his 10th North-South Shootout victory overall. The headliner for the racing is Matt Hirschman, who’s a nine-team North-South Shootout champion. Hirschman, a Pennsylvania driver, will seek his fourth straight title in the main Modifieds division, which involves 125 laps. The featured event as part of the final regular-season card was billed as a test to determine possible engine and carburetor rules for the 2025 season.
