SOPHIA – It was as much about the scene as it was the racing Wednesday night at Caraway Speedway. And the racing was pretty good. SOPHIA – Jason York continued his winning ways by winning the Late Models race Saturday night at Caraway Speedway. Tony Black and Dean Ward brought out new cars to try to stop York’s winning ways. Both had solid performances with Black claiming the runner-up spot. Ward was running second to York when a quick shower halted racing on lap 30. Charlie Parks of Asheboro and playing partner Doug Owens of Albemarle placed third in the 65-and-older division at Wilson Country Club. Parks and Owens had rounds 71 and 67 for a two-round total of 6-under-par 138.
