Southwestern Randolph (1-1) trailed 7-0 at halftime. Asher Perkins, Brody Shepard and Owen Whelan also scored touchdowns. North Moore (0-2), which is coached by Asheboro resident Andrew Carrouth, has already equal last year’s regular-season loss total. The Mustangs also lost last year to Southwestern Randolph. Football games moved up with showdown looming
