ASHEBORO — Will Dabbs scored 30 points and the Providence Grove boys’ basketball team disrupted the pecking order in the Piedmont Athletic Conference by winning 63-50 at Uwharrie Charter Academy on Friday night. Andrew Thomas notched 13 points as Patriots knocked UCA out of a share of first place in a crowded PAC race. Andrew Thomas scored on a putback with 14 seconds remaining to defeat host Southern Alamance 57-55.
