In the early hours, Kevin and Shauna Burroughs and their children, Kamdyn, 15, and Chevy, were asleep when the fire broke out just before 3 a.m. Shauna rescued Kamdyn through a window, while Kevin, hindered by heavy smoke and fire, eventually reached Chevy by breaking through an exterior wall.
