LIBERTY – A Liberty police officer resigned from his position with the department after being charged with DUI following a crash while pulling into the police department to start his shift earlier this month.   Just before 6 p.m. Feb 14, troopers with the N.C. RALEIGH — North Carolina House Speaker Tim Moore (R-Kings Mountain) is grateful to the law enforcement officers who were on hand when the vehicle he was traveling in was rammed by an apparent drunk driver.
