This time it was a road victory for the Tigers, who won 46-36 on Friday night. Chenleigh Robinson tallied 10 points and Bella Byman had nine points for Randleman (14-6 overall, 9-0 PAC), which showcased its defense. Prep football: Eastern Randolph nips Randleman for PAC title

RANDLEMAN – Carter Revelle threw 39 yards to Nicah Taylor for a third-quarter touchdown in a 22-21 victory against previously undefeated Randleman on Friday night in the regular-season finale to determine the Piedmont Athletic Conference championship. The Wildcats (9-1 overall, 5-0 PAC) have gone unbeaten in 15 games in the conference’s current configuration. Revelle threw for two touchdowns, completing 12 of 16 passes for 162 yards. Randleman, volleyball Carter was rated among Randleman’s top producers in several categories during her senior season on the volleyball team. She was the leader among the Tigers in service percentage and second on the team in aces. She also made strong contributions in blocks and kills per set. She played as an outside hitter and defensive specialist. Randleman racked up a 17-6 record in 2022 for its fifth consecutive winning season. Carter was also a member of Randleman’s Piedmont Athletic Conference champion girls’ basketball team. ** During the summer, we recognize seniors from the past school year.

PREP ROUNDUP: UCA wins PAC Tournament in volleyball; Providence Grove runners claim titles

Third-seeded Uwharrie Charter Academy upset top-seeded Southwestern Randolph to win the Piedmont Athletic Conference Tournament for volleyball Wednesday night. The Eagles won 24-26, 16-25, 25-23, 25-13,15-13 against the host school. UCA swept Trinity and Randleman earlier in the week to reach the final. Southwestern Randolph, which swept Wheatmore in the semifinals after a first-round bye, had been undefeated in PAC play. The Cougars received 29 kills and nine digs from Payton Shiflet, 22 digs from Coley Shiflet and 19 digs from Carleigh Whitson. Raegan LeRoy added 39 assists and 17 digs.
