That’s much how the season has gone as a whole for the Tigers. Tyshaun Goldston poured in 34 points and top-seeded Randleman defeated second-seeded Trinity 69-47 in Friday night’s title game. PAC girls: Randleman rules again, captures tourney

RANDLEMAN – Randleman tightened its stronghold on Piedmont Athletic Conference girls’ basketball. The Tigers won the PAC Tournament for the third year in a row. Friday night’s home victory against second-seeded Southwestern Randolph came with Chenleigh Robinson tallying 19 points and Audra Petty providing 17 points. Southwestern Randolph (23-4) received 14 points from Jordin George and nine points from Macy Allred. The Cougars are 0-3 vs. Randleman this season. Randleman has gone three consecutive seasons without a loss in PAC competition. The Tigers won tournament finals the past two seasons by defeating UCA and Eastern Randolph in the championship games.…

And the Blue Comets won’t have to leave home this week because the pre-determined site for semifinals and finals is Asheboro’s gym. Asheboro (20-3) had one of two byes to the semifinals. RANDLEMAN – One victory is all it will take for Randleman to reach the Piedmont Athletic Conference Tournament championship on its home court in girls’ basketball. The Tigers will be going for a third consecutive tournament title if they top the winner of a game between fourth-seeded Uwharrie Charter Academy and fifth-seeded Wheatmore in the semifinal round.
