The headliner for the racing is Matt Hirschman, who’s a nine-team North-South Shootout champion. Hirschman, a Pennsylvania driver, will seek his fourth straight title in the main Modifieds division, which involves 125 laps. Early entrants included Hirschman, Jimmy Blewett, Landon Huffman and brothers Jason Myers and Burt Myers. The featured event as part of the final regular-season card was billed as a test to determine possible engine and carburetor rules for the 2025 season. SOPHIA – The chaos had to wait for the Crashin’ Hackett’s Night of Destruction. It was rescheduled for Saturday night at Caraway Speedway after last Saturday’s postponement because of wet weather and an unappealing forecast. The speedway is promoting this as the 11th edition of the demolition derby style activities at the track.
