EnergyUnited responds to damage at Pleasant Hill Substation

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vandalism call Jan. 17 at a power substation on Post Road, Thomasville, in Randolph County. The reporting person, a representative of EnergyUnited, advised the company received an alarm at the substation and, upon inspection, found and reported the damage. Criminal Investigations and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to investigate and collect evidence at the site. The Federal Bureau of Investigations and North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) were also notified. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force responded to conduct a parallel investigation. He rolled up 19 points and six rebounds when Randleman defeated visiting Uwharrie Charter Academy 68-42.  Then came Goldston’s 15 points, six rebounds, and three blocked shots in a 49-43 victory at Providence Grove. Goldston holds team-leading marks of 16.1 points, 7.7 rebounds per game, and 2.1 blocked shots per game. With an 11-5 record entering this week, the Tigers already eclipsed last season’s eight-win mark.

RALEIGH — Last week, N.C. State Treasurer Dale Folwell delivered a check for over half a million dollars to State Superintendent Catherine Truitt and N.C.
